Tuning it for the best picture
With the introduction of new TV channels available within Australia now it's important to ensure your reception is the best it can possibly be. This typically means ensuring a good quality antenna, cable and outlets within the home. Having multiple joins, taps and splits off your line from the aerial will undoubtedly cause reception loss and or picture degradation.
Thats why we're here to help. We can test your existing outlets for strength and signal quality and if required, rectify anything causing an issue. Each outlet in your home should ideally receive a signal strength around 60dB. The lower the reading, the more chance your picture will stutter and go 'blocky'. This can also be true for the opposite....too high a signal and the picture can do the same. Your TV's tuner cannot cope with too weak or too strong a signal and in turn will output an error in the form of a 'block' or picture interruption. |
